:Cue:Cat Software

QKat DOS Driver

Would you like to install barcode readers on every workstation in your small business or non-profit organization and save a minimum of $100 per workstation? Are you running a DOS-based inventory, Point-of-Sale or any other DOS application? If your answer to both questions is "yes", then do I have a deal for you!

The QKat DOS Driver is memory-resident software that performs the decryption of the barcode data in the background for any foreground DOS or OS/2 application. In other words, the QKat DOS Driver makes existing applications CueCat-compatible. It is not just another "decoder" that can only display the barcode data on the screen.

The :Cue:Cat is a FREE barcode scanner currently available from your local RadioShack store. This scanner is known as a "keyboard wedge" as it connects between your keyboard and computer. The data produced by this barcode scanner is encrypted as the parent company, Digital Convergence, wanted to insure that only their software would be used with this device. The QKat DOS TSR Driver performs the required decryption of the scan data allowing the :Cue:Cat scanner to be used as a generic barcode scanner with almost any DOS application. Registration is only $8.00 per workstation. Full-featured demo

I-Opener Software

IOEsc

This TSR program converts the grave/accent character (the character under the tilde) into an Escape Key for those I-Opener owners using the original I-Opener keyboard. Works for all DOS applications, even those run from a DOS window under Win9x. Freeware

IOEscWin

This is a Virtual Device Driver (VxD) for Win9x that converts the grave/accent character (the character under the tilde) into an Escape Key for those I-Opener owners using the original I-Opener keyboard. This will provide Escape key support for all Windows applications. Freeware (Coming soon!)

Novell Netware Software

CMD

Does your Novell Network Administrator distribute software (or other items you may not be interested in) from the login script by spawning COMMAND.COM and running a batch file? If you load this TSR before logging-in, it will prevent all applications from spawning COMMAND.COM, including LOGIN.EXE which processes the login script. This is old software that was last tested under the VLM client, but it should work under Client32 for DOS. It's guaranteed NOT to work under Client32 for Windows. Freeware
